Description
Diethylene Glycol, also known as diethylene glycol, reacts with acid anhydrides to form esters. It reacts with alkyl sulfates or haloalkanes to form ethers. Its main uses are as a gas dehydrating agent and extractant, and it is also used as a lubricant and finishing agent for textiles. It is obtained by the reaction of ethylene oxide and ethylene glycol. Diethylene Glycol has been widely used in various cosmetics as a solvent, heat-insulating agent, and viscosity control agent. It has been used in my country for nearly 20 years without any problems being found during this period.
